NO current sire can meet or exceed Bullseye's combination of superior Docility, $W and $B!
The first Bullseye progeny weaned this past fall are looking great! The Bullseye sons were the #1 top indexing sire group in the 2013 Hoover crop. They will definitely have the thickness, muscle and shape that we hoped! The first Bullseye progeny will highlight our February 4, 2014 production sale. The Bullseye progeny have been gentle to handle, and will be a great fit for cattlemen who have used CC&7 genetics and want to continue with excellent disposition bulls.
At Hoover Angus, we know that "Good bulls don't cost, good bulls pay", and we partnered with KDS Angus and Accelerated Genetics to bid against several of the largest and most prestigious Angus breeders in the country to have the winning bid at $192,000 when Bullseye sold. He is one of the few young bulls of the breed that has sold a significant amount of semen before he even came to auction at 14 months of age. In just his first calf crop, over 400 progeny have been recorded through AHIR in 40 herds.
Bullseye was the #1 yearling weight and #2 weaning weight bull of the Mogck crop, and scanned the 2nd biggest ribeye and 2nd highest IMF! He aced every challenge that was given to him, earning him the name "Bullseye"! He is a powerhouse individual that has been the buzz of the Angus breed. Highly respected cattlemen have compared him to Hoover Dam in terms of thickness and power. Bullseye is a 6.5 frame bull with an outcross pedigree for much of the breed. He is a very gentle bull to work with, and has a great track record for producing high quality semen. Bullseye was a large part of the 2013 AI program at Hoover Angus, and saw natural service at Hoover Angus the past two summers. He is currently servicing fall calving cows at Hoover Angus.
Semen is available through your local Accelerated Genetics representative at $30/unit, $40/certificate. Or contact Landi at 641-772-4479 or 641-344-7684 for more information.
