Home Run is featured as ORIgen's 3rd highest Ribeye EPD sire, and ties as having the 16th highest Ribeye EPD among the nation's non-parent Angus bulls (spring 2011 NCE)! He also ties with the 6th highest Docility EPD in the breed!
Home Run was the second top selling bull in our 2010 sale at $13,000. From the same cow family as Hoover Dam, this bull can be used with confidence to increase muscle mass and thickness in a moderate framed package that offers the sustainable performance necessary to be profitable in today's cattle business. A full brother to Home Run was purchased for $12,000 in our 2011 sale.
Home Run's dam records 9-93 BWR, 9-108 WR, 9-106 YR, and is the herd's 3rd top ribeye ratio cow with 9-110 RE ratio. X16's sons scanned at Hoover Angus average a 15.84" ribeye, her heifers a 13.5" ribeye. Compare both of these to breed average, and they are 3.5" above breed average! Her two heifer calves both had ribeyes bigger than bull breed average! X16 has a 355 day calving interval and her 6 sons to come to auction have averaged $6500.
