EPDs current as of sping 2012 NCE update

MCATL Triple Stack 889-495 weaned at 870 pounds to ratio 120 and went on to post a 1593 pound yearling weight, ratio 118. Gaining 4.52 pounds per day and scanning a 4.79 IMF and a 17.0" ribeye, this bull covers all the bases. This first set of calves certainly appear to have tremendous growth! They are some of the biggest, stoutest calves of the crop, and Triple Stack's growth EPDs will hold strong. With accuracy built by the Igenity and Pfizer profiles, Triple Stack ranks at the top of the breed for Residual Average Daily Gain (RADG) EPD. This means his calves will gain more with the same amount of feed as compared to sires with lower RADG EPDs.

One CC&7 daughter was flushed to Triple Stack last spring, resulting in several spring 2011 calves, and they look outstanding! Look for these calves to be some of the headliners of our February 2012 production sale.Triple Stack will add frame size along with a knockout phenotype. He is wide based, thick, deep ribbed and flat topped. At $17,000, this was one of the top-selling bulls of the March 2010 Musgrave Angus sale.

Triple Stack's sire has been a standout for the Bush Angus herd in South Dakota and Jacs Ranch in Arkansas.
